Information Revolution

Seth Godin
There has been no bigger change in ten thousand years of recorded human history than the overwhelming transformation of society and commerce and health and civilization that was enabled (or caused) by industrialization.
...yet! The Information (Digital) Revolution will make the Industrial Revolution look like a relatively minor event - simplistic in objectives, process and implementation. Future generations will review the Industrial Revolution with the collective thought of "duh".  The current pace of change is mind numbing. I'm in my early thirties - 5 television channels, a set of encyclopedias, a few text books and the occasional trip to the library. That was about it. I'm extremely grateful for the resources I had but this has little in common with a modern counterpart. Information has gone from sparse to unlimited.
